Podcasting:  In May 2006 Lang’s television show, The Lang Associates Sunday Home Show,  became the first real estate TV show in Vermont to be podcast to the entire world. Postcasting is the new digital audio and visual medium that’s sweeping the globe. Search for “Sunday Home Showcase” in iTunes, a free media player available at iTunes.com, or click here to open iTunes and subscribe to the Lang Associates Sunday Home Show.

WHAT IS PODCASTING?
Podcasting is a way to receive audio or video files over the Internet. It is like a television or radio show crossed with a magazine. Once you "subscribe" then each new episode is delivered directly to your computer!

Contrary to popular belief, viewers and listeners do not need to own an iPod in order to experience podcasting. Once a person downloads iTunes, available for free at www.iTunes.com, they select the podcast button on the player and search for their favorite media. The podcast will play on their computer, and update weekly with a new episode.

GETTING STARTED
All you need to get started is podcasting software such as iTunes, Juice or jPodder. Once you download and install the free software, simply subscribe to Lang's podcast. The podcasting software automatically checks for updates and downloads the files to your computer, where you can enjoy them directly, or load them onto your iPod or MP3 player.
